The marketplace
Direct Owner connects private vehicle sellers and buyers. Buyers and sellers discuss inspections, price, payment, and transfer directly. The demonstration does not provide vehicle checkout, escrow, or a purchase guarantee.
Accounts and listings
Keep your account credentials private. Provide accurate vehicle information, disclose known issues, and only offer a vehicle you are authorized to sell. Submitted listings require administrator approval; material edits to approved listings return them to review.
Buyer and seller responsibilities
Confirm identity, vehicle condition, ownership documents, liens, and local transfer requirements independently. Listing approval is not certification of the vehicle or seller. Do not use the marketplace to mislead others or request sensitive account information.
Plans and outside services
Paid listing checkout is not available in this demonstration. Lenders and vehicle research services are independent of Direct Owner; their terms apply when you use their websites.
Before public launch
The final terms require owner and legal review, including the operator’s identity, fees and refunds, enforcement process, liability provisions, dispute resolution, and governing law. Questions can be sent through the contact form.
